Radio:
Tony Palmer was a founding presenter of BBC Radio 4's arts magazine programme, Kaleidoscope, and later was a founding presenter of Radio 3's arts magazine programme, Night Waves, for which he won a SONY Award for best radio feature. He regularly appears on Front Row.

The St Petersburg production of Parsifal won 'The Golden Mask' in Russia, and the Bolshoi production won the 'Casta Diva' prize, both for Best Theatre Production. Palmer has also directed plays in the West End (of London), notably the world premiere of Déjavu, John Osborne's last play.
